What a respite from the world. Is there anywhere approaching this sort of comfort in Seattle? Cafe Flora is tasty, but hardly a place where a solo meal could be comfortable (or cheap).

Still looking.

Sadly, I can't think of any. There are a few coffee shops that work well, of course, but nothing approaching the Sunshine Inn, and certainly not vegetarian. Thanks for following my "pet" project, by the way.

Trevor, there is one place that comes to mind: Mr. Spot's Chai House in Ballard. Great food (though not quite up to Sunshine Inn's standards), and you can hang out there alone pretty comfortably.
